A downloadable game for Windows
A another cooking game I am making by myself in Unity. It's a cooperative game with Online and Local multiplayer up to 4-players online. It supports local connectivity (using IP:Port) or unity relay (using lobbies and join code)
The genral idea is: Customers come in, you take their order, you cook for them, you serve them and you take their money, if you are fast enough!
Play with friends, upgrade your restaurant, cook Gyros, Souvlakia and Burgers.
You can play with keyboard or gamepads, use the in-game settings to check/edit them.
Controls:
- Pause-Unpause game: Esc
- Move: WASD / arrow keys
- Interact: E (usually to grab things)
- Interact Alt: F (usually to use things (cutting board, fryer etc), put ingredient back to its container)
- Stop Move: Space (hold down this button and press any move key to rotate the player without moving)
Gamemodes:
- Story
- Practice
- Random
In Story mode with the money you earn each day you can upgrade your restaurant and unlock player specialities like Cook and Waiter.
In Practice mode there is not customers only orders. Here you can try and learn the cooking recipes.
In Random mode the cooking recipes/counters/customer types/levels are selected randomly based on the selected difficulty (easy, normal, hard) and level size.
Various Mechanics in random order:
- 3 savegame slots in singleplayer, custom name slots in multiplayer.
- Create public or private lobbies (Unity Lobby/Relay).
- Create local server with UPnP support.
- Connect with join code (Unity Relay) or ip:port (Local Server).
- Choose your favorite color as Player.
- Buy player Specialities:
- Cook: slower movement, faster rotation speed, faster cutting speed, can hold two ingredients
- Waiter: faster movement, slower rotation speed, slower cutting speed, can hold two dishes
- Multi: can hold either two ingredients or two dishes at the same time
- Super variants of the above: more benefits, less drawbacks and can hold 3 items of each type respectively
- Upgrade your Restaurant in Story mode.
- Prepare and cook food like Souvlakia, Gyros and Potatoes.
- If you haven't prepared the ingredient you can put it back.
- Trash the last ingredient of dish or the whole dish, but with some cost (-1 for each ingredient + dish)
- 3 Customer types, fast, normal, slow.
- Serve customers either at a table or as a takeaway.
Starting Assets is from Kitchen Chaos of Code Monkey Tutorial. All 3D models are either free to use or created by me.
